Kandarp Mehta

Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship and Negotiation, Kandarp Mehta, PhD IESE Business School, Barcelona.

He has been with the Entrepreneurship Department at IESE since October 2009.His research has focused on creativity in organizations and negotiations.

He frequently works as a consultant with startups on issues related to Innovation and Creativity. His doctoral thesis was about the process of creativity in the context of motion picture industry.

He has conducted several Negotiation and Creativity Workshops for corporate executives and management students in Europe, USA, and India. Before coming to Spain, he was at ICFAI Business School in India where he taught Corporate Finance.

He is also actively involved with Creative Industries.

In today’s world, entrepreneurs and executives must face two new factors that affect political and economic environments, alter social relations and deeply impact businesses, their operations and their processes:
Digital Revolution: The advent of big data, machine learning, and new technologies require new organizational approaches and competencies.
Sustainability: The need to create and maintain a sustainable society for future generations must be integral part of a successful business strategy.

In today’s environment simply closing the managerial skills gap is not enough anymore. In order to prosper in this new reality an innovative and visionary approach is required. It is essential to question the validity of existing models with a pioneering, and not merely adaptive, spirit and develop new paradigms. EMBA10 embraces this spirit of innovation and is constantly evolving to ensure the highest education standard to the participants.

USI EMBA participants are managers, entrepreneurs, business Leaders and start-uppers with significant professional experience from all types of organizations, companies and institutions gained either locally or internationally.

You must hold a bachelor’s degree, be willing to develop new knowledge, insight and understanding relevant to your current and future positions. We seek candidates with a passion to succeed, who are motivated and desire to improve their competences, skills, and career paths. In special cases, we will consider applications based on professional qualifications.

Leading in Uncertainty

Innovation. Transformation. Trends

USI EMBA is delighted  to announce the opportunity to join the «Skolkovo International Exchange Week» , from September 30 to October 3 2019.

It will take place in Skolkovo School of Management, Moscow, and it represents a great chance to understand how Russian culture, values and history affect their approach to business.

The program will be a mix of in-class lecture and discussion, interactive digital simulation, speakers and company visits, and will be centered around “ Leading in Uncertainty! Innovation, Transformation and Trends”. 

This is also an amazing occasion to meet new friends, network  with EMBA students and alumni from Universities all over the world and weave new international connections.

Why SKOLKOVO created this program?

The programme will be a mix of in-class lectures and discussions, interactive digital simulations, invited speakers and company visits, as well as exciting cultural experience.
